1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Metain ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. Metain is operated by Metain ("we", "us", "our").

2. Roblox Disclaimer

By using Metain, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • These Terms are between you and Metain only and not with Roblox Corporation.
  • Metain is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Roblox Corporation.
  • Roblox Corporation is not responsible or liable for your use of Metain.
  • Roblox Corporation has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for Metain.
  • You waive and release any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses and expenses against Roblox Corporation arising from or related to your use of Metain.

"Roblox" and related trademarks are property of Roblox Corporation. Use of Metain is also subject to the Roblox Terms of Use.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Metain. This requirement is enforced through Roblox OAuth authentication. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

4. Account & Authentication

Metain uses Roblox OAuth for authentication. We receive your Roblox user ID, username and display name. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Roblox account. We are not responsible for any unauthorized access resulting from your failure to protect your account.

5. License to Use

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Metain for personal or internal business purposes, subject to these Terms.

6. AI-Generated Content

Metain uses artificial intelligence to generate Luau code and UI components. You acknowledge that:

  • AI-generated outputs may contain errors, bugs or inaccuracies.
  • You are solely responsible for reviewing, testing and validating all generated code before use.
  • We do not guarantee that generated code will be secure, functional or fit for any particular purpose.
  • You assume all risk associated with using AI-generated content in your Roblox games.

7. Ownership

Your Content: You retain ownership of all prompts you submit and all code generated for you through the Service. You may use your generated code for any lawful purpose, including commercial Roblox games.

Our Service: We retain all rights to the Metain platform, including our software, branding and underlying technology. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights in the Service to you.

8. Data Usage

In compliance with Roblox's Creator Third Party App Policy:

  • We do not sell your data.
  • We do not use your prompts or generated code to train AI models.
  • Your data is only used to provide and improve the Service.

9. Credits & Billing

Metain operates on a credit-based system:

  • Free accounts receive limited daily credits.
  • Paid plans provide monthly credit allocations.
  • Credits are non-refundable and do not roll over between billing periods unless specified.
  • Unused credits expire at the end of each billing period.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.

Payments are processed by Stripe. By purchasing credits, you agree to Stripe's terms of service.

10. Prohibited Uses

You may not use Metain to:

  • Generate malicious code, exploits or scripts intended to harm Roblox users or games.
  • Violate Roblox's Terms of Use or Community Standards.
  • Engage in any illegal activity.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, copy or resell the Service.
  • Use automated tools to abuse the Service.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE OR SECURE.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, METAIN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

13. Termination

You may stop using Metain at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends, but provisions that by their nature should survive (such as ownership, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will remain in effect.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware.
